This model is created as a combination of classic dining table traditions and a modern approach to functionality. “Norton” has a round shape, which makes it convenient for communication and creates a sense of coziness and equality among those sitting at it. The “Norton” table features a modern and minimalist design with an emphasis on the natural aesthetics of wood. The table frame is made of natural oak wood. The base of the tabletop is moisture-resistant plywood finished with oak lamella.
Thanks to this, the surface has a clear, natural wood pattern, giving it charm and a unique character. A special attraction of the tabletop is the “French herringbone” pattern, where the lamellas are arranged from the center in a chevron shape. This not only visually enriches the design but also gives it an exquisite style. The table apron is more structured in shape: rectangular with cut and smoothed corners and chamfers.
The legs of the “Norton” table are another distinctive feature. They have an original cross-shaped construction: the upper and lower parts of the legs are inclined at different angles and intersect at a common point — this adds stability and a modern look. A cross-shaped wooden plank between the legs strengthens the construction and adds an extra stylistic detail.
The highlight of this model is the folding mechanism. An additional panel that increases the surface area is hidden within the table apron. The base of the chair is a sturdy wooden frame made of high-quality solid oak. The seat is made of coniferous timber, a zigzag spring with an elastic belt, and polyurethane foam combined with synthetic winterizer. This filling creates a feeling of elasticity that will last for years. Polyurethane foam is also present in the backrest.
The legs are slightly inclined and taper downwards, which gives the construction stability and visual lightness at the same time. The backrest is low, with a semi-circular shape that seems to follow the natural anatomy of the person. The upper part gradually transitions into small armrests, which add extra convenience while keeping the silhouette compact.
